DENVER, Colorado—January 18, 2012—Roth Sheppard Architects, the Denver-based award-winning AIA-Denver and AIA-Colorado '2010 Firm of the Year' and the Denver Business Journal '2011 Power Book' winner [architecture category], today announced a first-of-its-kind educational event for Colorado high school students and their parents. The firm, known for designing some of Colorado's most popular restaurants, fast-casual eateries and retail spaces, as well as many of the most progressive law enforcement and municipal facilities in the Western U.S. will host its inaugural "So You Want to Be an Architect?" event on Saturday March 24th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is part of Roth Sheppard's effort to engage the profession, the public and education in a dialogue to raise the level of design expectation in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West.
